Who is responsible

This website is operated by Lutz Computer Services, LLC of Lutz, Florida, United States. For anything on this page, write to contact@lcsof.com.

What is collected

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your e-mail address, and optionally your company and phone number, together with the message you write. The IP address the form was submitted from is recorded alongside it, purely so that abuse of the form can be rate-limited.

Nothing else is collected. There is no analytics service, no advertising network and no third-party tracking on this site. No cookie is set unless you submit the contact form, and the one set then is the session cookie that stops the form being submitted from another site on your behalf.

Why, and for how long

Your enquiry is used to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to carry out that work. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after twelve months. Records relating to work actually carried out are kept for as long as tax and contract law require.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is stored on this website's own server and e-mailed to Lutz Computer Services. It is not sold, rented, or passed to anyone else for their own purposes. The only third parties involved are the ones needed to run the site at all: the hosting provider that operates the server, and the mail provider that carries the notification.

Client work

Where Lutz Computer Services builds or maintains a system for a client, any data in that system belongs to the client and is handled only as their instructions and our contract require. It is not used to train anything, not published, and not shown in a portfolio. The case studies on this site deliberately contain no client operating figures, and the one illustration that would otherwise have shown them is drawn as a schematic with no numbers.

Your rights

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing to contact@lcsof.com. There is no charge and no form to fill in. If you are asking for deletion of an enquiry, it will be done within thirty days.

Changes

If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
